The Rural Sales Syndicate is an affordable public professional development and peer-support group designed specifically for rural sales reps. It provides you with access to regular training, expert guidance, and a community of like-minded peers to help you refine your sales skills, share best practices, and achieve better results in your sales role.

We meet weekly on Fridays 8:30 am AEST / 10.30 am NZT for 90 minutes each time (that’s over 6 hours of live coaching a month from yours truly!). Don't forget daylight savings times for NZT last Sunday of Sept (Spring - go forward one hour) and first Sunday in April (Autumn - fall back one hour).

For our North American friends this will be your mid-afternoon Thursdays. You can quickly calculate the time zones here (note: we only have one time zone in New Zealand so use Auckland and then select your closest city)

The training session will be conducted online via Zoom. We use Zoom because it allows for a far better, enriching and immersive training experience including interactive chat and whiteboard sessions (which Microsoft Teams unfortunately doesn’t do as well).

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate every single member's preference for a particular day and time especially at this lower price point as it normally costs a business upwards of $5,000 to access St John directly on a per participant basis (or $10,000 per day for private 1:1 coaching or public speaking engagements).

Also our current client commitments and overseas work means we have very constrained capacity to teach and train a public group that fits everyone's availability and schedules (if you can't make due to kids sport or school run/travel etc. don't stress, we record and post in the portal same day so you can catch up on it later).

Remember you also have the option to ask St John direct - as well as tap into the power of the group and their brain's trust - by asking your specific burning question in our Skool portal. St John and the community will get back with an answer as soon as they can and point you to the relevant resources. And remember more you generous you are helping the group with their questions, the more they will help you! You can't be a taker all the time : )

The Classroom section in Skool is a valuable resource that houses all the training reference, cheat sheets, templates and recorded masterclasses conducted thus far. This section will be regularly updated as we progress, ensuring that all participants have access to the latest materials.

If you can do internet banking or Netflix, our training portal interface is much the same and as easy to use and navigate round : )  All cheat sheets, scripts and templates can be saved and downloaded to your devices or company server. 

You need to allocate about 90min each week for the accountability calls. (sometimes we might only go for 45-60mins depending on number of attendees and # of questions). We do recommend you re-watch the recordings when you can if you need to refresh yourself on key topics.

You can also use the transcripts we post to search for the specific topic or key word/term and speed play (remember: your brain can listen at 1.5X as our minds can process 400words/min but only speak at 125).  

As like anything in life - you get out what you put in. We know life happens and gets in the way (sick kids, travelling, big important client meetings, being in transit) so we've always got you covered as we record every single coaching call and post them same day so you don't miss out.

It all comes down to your attitude and willingness to learn, but most importantly, apply. Knowledge not used is useless and nothing in life will work unless you put in the work.  

You have to be willing to do the work, be coachable and take consistent action.

will mean immediate automatic expulsion.

We guarantee to lift your sales by a minimum of 5% within the first 120 days IF you or your team can prove they have used and applied all that we have taught and trained them. If they have and you don’t get a minimum of a 5% lift in sales St John will personally work with you until you do.
